The long cable and wide temperature measurement range of -50°C to ~110°C provide a broad scope of use, e.g., for measuring temperatures indoors, outdoors, in a car, in an aquarium, swimming pool, cold store, terrarium, refrigerators and freezers, and many other places.

The device can measure both indoor and outdoor temperatures. It should be noted that the display itself must remain indoors, while only the probe and cable can be exposed to weather conditions. The device measures temperature exclusively via the probe.
